The School of Archaeology at the University of Oxford invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to join the project China TRACER (Technological Processes and Social Organisation in Early Northern China).
Based at the School of Archaeology (2 South Parks Road, Oxford), this four-year fixed-term position (0.8 FTE) will support interdisciplinary research on prehistoric northern and north-western China, integrating approaches from archaeology, anthropology, and material science. The successful candidate will work with Dr Anke Hein and Dr Guohua Yang, contributing to research, publications, and collaborative project activities.
The position is Grade 7 (£39,424–£47,779, pro-rata). Applicants should demonstrate strong research and communication skills and the ability to contribute to collaborative academic projects.
